Arnie Mauroni
Arnie Mauroni: Appeared in the August 2004 issue of the OTTS newsletter. Arnie is one of those club members who is able to do almost anything. He has held several offices in the club, including treasurer and Vice President; served on the board several times, has always lent a helping hand with our yearly hunt, and first arranged for us to metal detect in the Columbia Gorge State Parks Arnie is a master of all trades, and lucky for the club, as he has made the raffle ticket holder, the raffle ticket barrel, and for our hunt, the dart board and the "Wheel Of Fortune". He spends a lot of time changing the prizes each year, and draws the diagram for all prizes every year, a time consuming chore. He was Treasure Hunt chairman when we had the big open hunt a few years ago. He was also our Chef D' Cuisine at our last hunt. Arnie works as a Maintenance Supervisor for several apartment complexes. He is married to the gal Cindy who always makes some great goodies for the clubs bake auctions and potlucks. He has been detecting since 1994 and joined our club in 1995. His best find was a $5.00 gold coin at McMinnville Fair grounds the year we had our big hunt there. Thank you Arnie for all you do. |
