March's Club Member Outing by Tom Smith

Hello to all in the detecting world. It was a beautiful morning for the club hunt at Linnfield College in McMinnville. Dick Gaboury made the find of the day with his 1852 Seated Liberty dime and also found a 1903 Barber dime. Robert Zbinden found a 1939-S Walking Liberty Half-Dollar. Don Bean made the outstanding find of and 1893 Barber quarter. Clarence Sparks and Mike Maxon each found a silver Roosevelt dime. Bill Baker found a Mercury dime and I found 3 Mercury dimes and a silver Washington quarter. Some very nice silver jewelry was also found during the hunt.

Dick gave away 3 Walking Liberty Half-Dollars, the first for the most trash went to Clarence and the other two went to Don and Jarrand Bean for finding the "spotted" RAM nickels. The attendance drawing for a nice Peace dollar went to Mike Maxon.
