The morning of the hunt was rainy and wet, but after being at Irving Park for a short while the drizzle stopped and it turned out to be a nice morning for detecting. Jack Hipp cleaned up by finding a 1954-D Franklin half-dollar, 3 mercs, a buffalo, 2 sterling rings and a sterling necklace. Some other nice finds were John Becker's gold earring with red stones and Dick Gaboury's silver bracelet. Jim Siel, Arnie Mauroni, Jim Cornwell and I each found a silver Roosevelt dime. Joe Lynsky won the silver dollar for the participation drawing.
