The 29 club members who came out for the March outing were treated to a perfect day of sun at US Grant Park and High School.

The competition was tight at this hunt with only 13 points separating the top four finishers.  Robert Zbinden and Dick Gaboury found the only two sterling Rings this day.  Several silver dimes were found by members during the day:  Mike Nanson with a 1947-S and a 1957-D Roosevelt dime, Dick Gaboury with a 1940-S Mercury dime, Bill Baker with a 1946-S and a1952-D Roosevelt dime, Mike young with a 1928-S and a 1943-D Mercury Dime and Brad Weigandt with a 1914-S Barber Dime.  Mike and Dick each also found Buffalo nickels.  There were also 38 wheaties found by members during the hunt.

Dick Gaboury gave away two Walking Liberty half-dollars for to the person closest to a dollar amount in change found that he wrote down at the beginning of the hunt.  The Mary and Clarence Sparks took them both home when Mary with $0.90 was closest to the number of $0.98 and Clarence was a penny off with $2.36 and the number was $2.37.  Steve Tucker won the membership attendance drawing for a nice looking 1883 Morgan dollar.
