October 2005
October's Club Member Outing by Bill Baker Hi everybody. Nice seeing you again. Our October outing was an interesting one. We had 3 sites we could hunt, all within a few blocks of each other. Powell park, Cleveland high school and the high school track and football field area. Powell park proved to be the site for the older finds. Mike Nanson found 2 V nickels, an old merc dime and 21 wheat pennies there. Cleveland high school was full of pennies...lots of pennies. The football/track field had the most change and other countable items. Robert Zbinden found $6.65 and a silver ring there. Mary Sparks found a silver ring too. Our membership drawing winner, for the 2nd month in a row, was Bev Parker. Congrats to all who participated.
