January's Club Member Outing by Jim Cornwell

This hunt could best be described with two words: COLD & WINDY!    A hardy group of thirty-five members met at McDonalds on a blustery Saturday morning before departing for our hunt site at Brentwood Park. In order the top hunters were: Todd Mullican, Tom Smith, Dan Web, Bill Baker, Steve Tucker and Brian Lundquist. 11 silver dimes and 31 wheatieswere recovered. The oldest coin was a 1903 Indian penny by Brian Lundquist. The first Token from among the 30- planted in Multnomah and Clark County Parks by our VG.P. was found by Bev Parker - ATTA Girl!

Thanks to Bill Baker and Dick Gaboury for hosting the January Outing.
