September's Club Member Outing by Jim Webb

The September 30, 2007 club outing was at Berkeley Park, Duniway Elementary and Lewis Elementary School.  Though the hunt was wet and rainy, it was not without a few rewards for those who stuck it out.  1st place went to Larry, 2nd to Brian Lundquist, 3rd Dan Killian, 4th James Lyons and 5th to Mike Maxon.  Among the various treasures were a 14K Gold Bracelet found by Larry Williams, a 1908 Barber Dime by Bill Baker, a Silver Ring by Brian Kinnear, several wheat pennies found by Dick Gaboury and one each Gold and Silver Rings to our very own treasurer Mike Maxon.  George Parker won a silver quarter for collecting the most pull tabs to help our cause.  17 hunters counted out and received a mercury dime each for there determination.
